Malnutrition Metrics
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
In short: Malnutrition Metrics does not collect, save, or share any personal information. Nothing you enter leaves your device.
Who we are
Malnutrition Metrics is made by Lalmba Association.
What the app does
The app helps health workers screen children for malnutrition. You enter a child's measurements, and the app shows a result and a suggested care plan. It supports your judgment but does not replace a healthcare professional.
Information you enter
You may enter a child's age or date of birth, sex, height, weight, arm measurement (MUAC), swelling (edema), appetite test result, and danger signs. The app does not ask for names, addresses, or photos.
This information:
- is used only to show the screening result,
- is not saved on your device,
- is not sent to us or anyone else, and
- is erased when you reset the form or close the app.
What we don't collect
There are no accounts or logins. The app does not use your location, camera, or contacts. It has no analytics, tracking, or ads. We never sell or share any information.
Children
The app is for adult health workers, not children. Information about children is entered by health workers during screening and is never sent to us.
Google Play
Downloading the app through Google Play is covered by Google's privacy policy. Google may show us general statistics, like the number of installs, but never any patient information.
Changes
If we ever change how the app handles information, such as saving screenings, we will update this policy before that change is released.
